Are you missing the point?

“To what can I compare the people of this generation? Jesus asked. How can I describe them? They are like children playing a game in the square. They complain to their friends, we played wedding songs and you did not dance, so we played funeral songs and you did not weep.” Luke 7:31-32 How often do we miss the point when God is doing a work in us? The religious leaders of Jesus’ day eagerly anticipated the coming of the Messiah but because he did not look like what they expected they were the ones who crucified Him. Don’t be so focused on what you think God is doing or should be doing that you miss out on what He IS doing in your life. Seek Him daily and be blessed.
