“If you openly declare that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For it is by believing in your heart that you are made right with God, and it is by openly declaring your faith that you are saved.” Romans 10:9-10 Have you ever wondered if you were truly saved? In these versus, Paul tells us how to be saved. It isn’t the good works that we do. It isn’t the water baptism. It isn’t being a genuinely good person that saves us. To be saved, we need to have a convesation from the heart with God. It might go something like this: Father, I believe you sent your Son Jesus to die on the cross for me, for my sins. I believe He was raised from the dead. Forgive me for my sins. I want you to come into my heart and be Lord of my life. In Jesus name I believe I am saved. Amen. Once this confession is made, we need to share it with others. Know that you are saved and be blessed.
