Arguing and walls

“Anyone who loves to quarrel loves sin; anyone who trusts in high walls invites disaster.” Proverbs 17:19 Two things here: Do you argue often? Maybe you don’t even realize it. Is it so important to be right? Maybe it’s a difference of opinion and you just need to listen. Arguing is not healthy for you or your relationships. Second, have you built walls around you with the idea that you can hide behind them and be safe? This scripture says, ‘walls invite disaster’. Think about this. Arguing and walls both invite trouble. Do some soul searching today. Understand that you don’t have to be right and your walls really aren’t protecting you. Ask God to help you in these areas and be blessed.
