“Then they spat in His face and beat Him with their fists; and others slapped Him.” Matthew 26:67 We are familiar with this story. It is when Jesus was sentenced to death on the cross. Most people are offended by the way Jesus was treated. As we watch a movie or read this story it hurts our hearts. Every time we have ugly thoughts or act out in unkind ways, it offends Jesus. It is like spitting in His face. Think about that. Be careful with your thoughts, your responses, your words. My prayer is that in every word I speak and in every action I take, people will see Jesus in me. Have a blessed day.
