“Be still and know that I am god!” Isaiah 46:10a In order to know what God has to say to us, we have to learn to sit in the quiet presence of God and hear what the Holy Spirit is saying. We can draw wisdom and strength from Him but we have to be willing to be still, to shut out the world and give Him our attention. We have to learn to be silent. It’s a challenge to shut our minds down and find a quiet place but it’s necessary to hear what our Father in heaven has to say. Sit quietly in God’s presence and be blessed.
