“As soon as I pray, you answer me; you encourage me by giving me strength.” Psalm 138:3 It is important to know how to encourage yourself when there’s nobody else around. We can pray. We can quote scripture. “Greater is He that is in me than He that is in the world” 1John 4:4 or “with men it is impossible but not with God; for all things are possible with God.” Mark 10:27 We can also sing or listen to uplifting music. It’s nice to have someone you can go to who will encourage you but what do you do when no one is around? Don’t stay in the pit. Talk to God, read and speak God’s Word, sing songs or listen to music that encourages you and be lifted out of the pit. Have a blessed day.
