“Even if that person wrongs you seven times a day and each time turns again and asks forgiveness, you must forgive.” Luke 17:4 We all say things and do things we don’t mean to say or do. As soon as we do, we know we are wrong. We want people to be quick to forgive us. We should also be quick to forgive those who offend us. The Scripture says “Forgive!” And not just once. It doesn’t say, “if you want to or when you feel like it”. Unforgiveness hurts us more than the other person. It also hurts the people around us because we become angry and bitter. We can’t be loving and angry at the same time. Forgive before it destroys you and others. Forgive and be blessed.
