“Telling lies about others is as harmful as hitting them with an ax, wounding them with a sword, or shooting them with a sharp arrow.” Proverbs 25:18 The next time you start to share in gossip picture yourself stabbing someone with a sword. Would you stab someone or shoot someone? No? Then don’t participate in gossip. You don’t know what is true and it can be as damaging or worse than than the physical wound.
