Listen with compassion

“When Jesus heard this, He told them, ‘Healthy people don’t need a doctor- sick people do. I have come to call not those who think they are righteous, but those who know they are sinners.” Mark 2:17 Jesus was eating dinner with tax collectors and other sinners. The Pharisees questioned why He would eat with such scum. When we “know” we are right, or we don’t think we do anything wrong, we can’t hear what others tell us. We have a closed mind. We can only hear when we are willing to admit we aren’t always right. Don’t let pride or ego get in the way of your blessings. We all need a Savior. Listen with compassion and be blessed.
