“You have heard the law that says ‘love your neighbor and hate your enemy.’ But I say, love your enemies. Pray for those who persecute you. In that way, you will be acting as true children of your Father in heaven. For He gives His sunlight to both evil and good, and He sends rain on the just and the unjust alike.” Matthew 5:43-45 We cannot change people but we can love and we can pray that God will change their heart. If we are really trying to be like Christ, we need to hesitate before we react or speak and get our thoughts inline with Jesus. Our first response, is worldly. Train yourself to hesitate, pray, then respond. We don’t have to like everybody but we are commanded to love them. Love people and be blessed.
