Lower your voice

“A gentle word deflects anger; but harsh words make tempers flare.” Proverbs 15:1 If you get into an argument and you lower your voice, it takes away the heat behind the conversation. However, if you raise your voice it escalates the argument. Is it so important to be right? Is it worth damaging the relationship? Next time you get in a disagreement, lower your voice. This does two things: it takes the heat out of the conversation and it causes the other person to actually listen to what you are saying. Lower your voice and be blessed.
