“But while Peter was in prison, the church prayed very earnestly for him. 7Suddenly, there was a bright light in the cell, and an angel of the Lord stood before Peter. The angel struck him on the side to awaken him and said, “Quick! Get up!” And the chains fell off his wrists.” Acts 12:5, 7 Peter was chained and heavily guarded. God released him. Prayer is powerful. I don’t think we understand it. When you pray, do you pray expecting God to show up or do you pray hoping He will? The powe comes in knowing and believing God will show up. Pray with expectancy and be blessed.
