“Fire goes out without wood, and quarrels disappear when gossip stops.” Proverbs 27:20 When someone does something that angers you, you tell your friend. Each time you tell the story and/or complain about that person you get angry again. Quit talking about it. Pray about it and ask God to help you let it go. Like fuel on a fire, gossip keeps the fire going. Stop talking about it and allow the fire to go out. Once the fire goes out, see if your anger doesn’t disappear. Even when you’ve been hurt, find the good in people and be blessed.
