“Submit to God, and you will have peace; then things will go well for you.” Job 22:21 When we independent/strong-willed folks hear the word submit, it is uncomfortable for us. We like to be in control. But, in order to experience peace, we need to learn to be submissive to God. We can ask God to take control in many different situations, but in order for us to experience true peace, we also have to submit to Him (let it go). And we can’t take it back, or we are right back where we started. Let God have control, leave it there, and be blessed with peace.
