“And we know that God causes everything to work together for the good of those who love God and are called according to His purpose for them.” Romans 8:28 It is easy to be thankful for the roses in life. Have you ever been grateful for the thorns? We readily give thanks for the good stuff and we question ‘why’ the bad stuff. The bad stuff is important to our faith. It takes the thorns to show the beauty of God’s comfort. We learn to comfort others through God’s consolation when we go through dark times. The thorns make the roses more precious. Praise God for the roses and thank Him for the thorns and be blessed.
