“For God loved the world so much that He gave His one and only Son, so that everyone who believes in Him will not parish but have eternal life.” John 3:16 The greatest gift of all! We give because God gave to us first. He gave us the air we breathe, the blood coursing through our bodies, the regular beat of our heart, and the love we have for others. Most importantly He saved us from darkness. It’s a choice. The true spirit of Christmas comes when we open our hearts to Him and actively focus on our Savior. We find Him in the small simple acts of love, friendship, and service to each other. Aside from spending money, how can you bless others in the true spirit of Christmas? Open the gift God has given you, Be a blessing to others, show people God’s love, and be truly blessed.
